Afrikan Farms (Pty) Ltd is wholly owned by the Vusi Khanyile Family Trust. Initially the family bought farming land in Amersfoort in their individual capacity and immediately started farming operations. It was about two years later that the farming operations were corporatised, with the establishment of Afrikan Farms (Pty) Ltd, with the Family Trust as the only shareholder. At a later stage the company acquired additional farms in its own right. Directors of the company are: Vusi Khanyile , Ndoni Khanyile Isaacs and Sbongeleni Mathenjwa.
